Lloyd is the founder and CEO of Hyperithm, a prominent digital asset financial services provider headquartered in Tokyo and Seoul. The firm is strongly backed by well-known investors such as Hashed, Coinbase, Samsung, Kakao, and Wemade.
Hyperithm's Asset Management division specializes in algorithm/High Frequency Trading (HFT)-based market neutral strategies for institutional investors and high asset holders. Lloyd is also an advocate of the Web3 ecosystem, which he supports through venture investments in emerging teams.
Lloyd launched his first startup at the age of 17 and went on to start multiple projects, including Bamboo Forest; in 2017, he discovered cryptocurrency as a more cost-effective way to make money and moved to Japan to join the Japanese family office. The following year, he co-founded Hyperithm with a former Morgan Stanley investment banker to become an "institutional digital asset gateway".
Lloyd is a graduate of Seoul National University, was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2022, and is passionate about scuba diving.
